Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

Evie would love to a normal teenage girl, but that’s hard to do when you’re capable of seeing past a paranormal’s glamours. Snatched up by an agency that specializes in ‘containing’ creatures such as werewolves, vampires, faeries, and gremlins, Evie leads a life far from normal. Things are not going as smoothly as one might hope at the agency, however, and Evie finds herself caught up in a power struggle between the faeries and the agency– the faeries have always been some of the most dangerous paranormals, and they’ve had enough. Not to mention, Evie’s also caught up in a love triangle with her gorgeous faerie ex, Reth, and Lend, a rare and mysterious young shape-shifter new to the agency.

This book was given to me by a friend, so I wasn't sure if it was worth me reading. But I LOVED it. I loved it so much I made Melanie read it. She LOVED it, and so she went and bought Supernaturally. We both loved it and can't wait for Endlessly to come out. I love Evie so much, she is right up there with all my main girls like Bella, Katniss, Clary, Chloe, and Laurel. Shes like the funny one, always cracking jokes, even though she hates being at the agency. And Lend, god amazing is all I have to say. I have a list of book boyfriends, and guess who's on there. LEND! Gosh, Kiersten's way of writing is so awesome. You keep writing girl, and I'll keep reading.
